The Carpenter's House

Our Mission Statement

The Carpenter's House cares about people and is intent upon reaching them with the "Good News" of Jesus Christ...
... Enfolding them into a compassionate, biblical fellowship of believers who are endeavoring to become fully committed disciples of Jesus Christ.

Our Core Values
1) Reach lost, un-churched, de-churched people and invite them to enter into     a vital and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

2) Preach and teach God's Word, making it applicable to daily living in order     to stimulate spiritual growth as disciples of Christ.

3) Have a contemporary style of worship that is relevant, meaningful,     inspiring, and contributes to the genuine worship of God.

4) Promote the use of spiritual gifts to edify the Church, enhance ministry     effectiveness, and bring personal fulfillment.

5) Encourage small group involvement in order to achieve maximum life     change and growth within the body of believers.

6) Strive for God honoring relationships within the church family...     confronting gossip and strife quickly, and resolving problems according     to Biblical principles.

7) Promote Biblical stewardship, of time, talent and money.

8) Utilize a simple organizational structure that allows for a maximum     number of people to be directly involved in ministry.

9) Have leaders that exercise authority using Biblical guidelines of love,     humility, and grace.

What's In a Name
The Carpenter's House is an original name designed by one of our members. it depicts the simple life that Jesus lived and taught His disciples. yet it makes a profound statement about the Incarnate God among men. Refreshing and filled with purpose, it is a description of this local body of believers who desire to walk today as Jesus did - simply fixing His sight on the mission before Him.

More Than a Building
We meet together at a common work site in a tilt-up that is typically used used for industry and commerce, reminiscent of a carpenter's shop. Inside , we carry out the simple work theme to remind us whose we are, and what we are to be about in everyday life - our father's business, just like Jesus the Son of God, who was commonly known as The Carpenter.
